About Me
I studied Biomedical Sciences (BSc) and Global Health & Development (MSc) at UCL before working as a researcher in the Department of Epidemiology & Public Health for 2.5 years. I also volunteer for the Race & Health initiative and was an Advocacy Intern at Hackney Migrant Centre. In my spare time, I enjoy attending art exhibitions, eating good food and travelling.
My Research
My research focuses on the mental health and wellbeing of Ukrainian adolescent girls and young women living in the UK since the onset of the Russia-Ukraine war. I will use participatory and mixed methods to understand the prevalence of, and stressors contributing to, mental ill-health, as well as coping responses and use of mental health and psychosocial support services.
Impact of My Research
My research aims to inform the development of targeted, culturally sensitive interventions for Ukrainian adolescent girls and young women, and other young female refugee populations, in the UK.
