The Social Science Research Methods PG Dip is an intensive accelerated programme running over two terms offering training in social science research methods. The postgraduate programme was initially set up as part of Hefce’s postgraduate support scheme for widening participation, and as such, one of the aims of the programme is ‘to offer a supportive environment in which you can assess your own suitability for further research degree studies, focusing on those from non-traditional pathways into research degrees’.
What is on offer?
In recognition of the important role this programme plays in facilitating non-traditional pathways into graduate research, the UBEL DTP offers up to three bursaries to students enrolled on the programme to pay for their tuition fees.
