Job Vacancy for PGR students – UCL Consultancy Challenge: Consultancy Assistant

Students’ Union UCL is recruiting for staff for an exciting new project – the UCL Consultancy Challenge. This is a HEIF-funded pilot scheme that will bring together UCL students and Voluntary & Community Sector (VCS) organisations to collaborate on rewarding Knowledge Exchange projects. The projects will run in the first week after the end of term 3 (13 – 17 June.) Typical projects could include support with business planning, introduction of new technologies, better understanding of user needs, horizon scanning, policy work, data analytics, product development, or service evaluation.

As a Consultancy Assistant you will work with and support two or three VCS organisations from the ideation stage through to project design. Projects will be delivered by a team of 6 – 8 UCL students (per organisation) during the Consultancy Challenge Week.

The role is for 3 1/2 hours a week from 7 March to 24June 2022, with around 7 hours worked during the week of the Consultancy Challenge (13 – 17 June).

You must be a current UCL PhD or MRes student to be considered for this position.

We particularly welcome applications from students from BAME backgrounds.

We will be running an information session on Zoom on Thursday 3 March 13:00 – 14:00 UK time, where you’ll be able to ask any questions you might have before you apply for the role. Register Here.

For more information about the role and to apply, visit Students’ Union UCL JobShop.

DEADLINE for submissions Sunday 13 March 11.59 pm.
